In 1980 Deon started studying computers as programmer,
progressing from DOS v1.01 and Basic 1.0 through COBOL,
PL/1, C, C++, Clipper, Delphi and later HTML, XML, CSS,
JavaScript, PHP, MySQL |

He worked for SCS (later ComputAssist) as National Sales
Manager while tending his fledgling CSS company which started
graphics and DTP on Xerox Ventura for various clients,
including SCS |
|
In 1986 he left SCS to form Computers and Software Systems.
Soon afterwards QwikChek was born and a new POS programming
branch was established in Port Elizabeth. 1989 he moved
to Durban to establish a branch there. From here,
Q-Studio was born eventually
to facilitate all things graphic |

Due to the high level of interaction with corporates for
branding, it was thought best to treat branding in a separate
contained environment and so The Branding House was born |
